Softball Size
what size softball bat should a 13 year old use?
This is my first year playing softball. Im 13 years old, 100 pounds, and 5 feet. I got a -11 bat. (really small, like me.) Idk if this is rite.
To get the most power out of your swing, you should use the heaviest bat you can swing without effecting bat speed. You will need to try several different sizes and lengths. The -11 is the weight/length differential. You need to be looking at how many ounces the bat weights. When you swing it, you should be able to hear the bat “cut through the air”.
