Baseball Chest
Baseball Chest

What is everything needed for me to to play youth baseball?
Bat
Ball
Glove
I won’t be pitcher, so I won’t need chest pads and all that.
You will need a decent comfortable pair of shoes (cleats). These will need to be rubber or plastic cleats. Also a batting glove, or gloves – which prevents the bat from slipping in your hand.
If you just use one batting glove, it should be worn on your left hand if you are a right hand batter. Or on right hand if you are a left hand batter.
Also, a pair of sliding pants to be worn under you baseball pants or shorts.
A batting helmet if the team does not supply one. They cost about $15, so most like to have their own. Maybe a faceguard on the batting helmet. They are becoming more popular, and are mandatory in some leagues.
This is a good start. BTW – if playing softball, a lot of girls are buying facemasks if playing the infield.
Good luck.
