i cant upgrade to instant messenger 9.0 keeps giving and error and making me retry or abort?
ive tried disabling all antivirus/firewall on computer and internet browser,tried setting browser to allow all downloading,
installed explorer 7.0
even uninstalled old messenger and deleted folder
also sometimes it says couldnt open forlder wile instaling it
the highest the download process went is 65 persent. also i had to go through this crap on my first install too vrs 8.0! i have a top of the line computer with xp pro service pack 2
can any one help me please
Try uninstalling then downloading it again:
Click on: Start
Click on: Control Panel
Click on: Add/Remove Programs
Click on: Yahoo Messenger then remove
Download Messenger from one of the following links:

You may have too many programs running in the background draining your system’s resources.
